About me

I’m a fully qualified English teacher at an Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ secondary school and sixth form. I hold an undergraduate degree in English and a postgraduate degree in Philosophy from the University of Southampton.

I help students succeed in English by teaching them how to think clearly, write confidently, and revise with purpose.

My method is simple: I use structured questioning strategies to build independent thinking, so students don’t just memorise, they understand. This makes them more effective in revision, more confident in exams, and more capable of speaking up for themselves in the classroom and beyond.
